Jason Hartman has dedicated his career as a physician to the advancement, education and clinical practice of musculoskeletal conditions and pain medicine. He attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) where he did an extra year of medical school to dedicate his time towards the learning of osteopathic manipulative medicine. From here, he went on to do a residency at PCOM in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, for which he is board certified. Not long after graduation, he started the Arcana Center for Integrative Medicine where he treated a wide variety of musculoskeletal complaints using various treatment modalities including Medical Acupuncture and prolotherapy.
He has a special interest in sports medicine and has worked for many years as a team physician for the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Phillies and Denver University athletics doing pre, post and game day care for athletes. After years of private practice, Dr. Hartman returned to training to complete a board certified Pain Medicine Fellowship at Larkin Hospital in South Miami where he received training in interventional spine treatments. Here he was trained in a wide range of interventions, from fluoroscopic procedures to regenerative medicine. Dr. Hartman has been faculty at two osteopathic medical schools and lectures both nationally and internationally on neuromusculoskeletal medicine.
